Cleanliness: my experience and the difficulties I encountered

I have always worked hard, tirelessly. Despite a very difficult pregnancy in which I almost lost my life, I have always clung as hard as possible to the precious possessions that surround me, in order to manage and provide for my one and only son.

Time passes and my child is growing. Then the question of potty training comes up. The evenings are short and the routine sets in day after day. Everything is well organised so that he knows the daily routine and its benchmarks.

After a long day, patience is in short supply, so I adapt and maintain a serene atmosphere in my home.

Potty training is a great moment in the life of a child, it is another milestone in his growing-up process. I check, I accompany him, we laugh, little accidents in his trousers, others try to help like his dad, grandma, grandpa, auntie, etc. (this list is endless).

It is a matter of daily supervision and support that can last for several months, depending on the child.

As a parent, I have tried EVERYTHING to get us out of this seemingly endless situation! But until he decided he was ready, there was nothing we could do.

One morning, when we thought it wasn’t going to happen anytime soon, it did! He decided he is a big boy and is potty trained! What a victory! The whole family is proud of him. It’s wonderful. The gifts are pouring in. He’s done it!
